To apply for one of our Lakeville apartments, complete our residential application and general consent form. Once submitted, fax your application to 952.469.1532. Then call us at 952.469.4500 to schedule a lease-signing appointment. At that appointment, bring a cash or certified check covering the security deposit and your full first month’s rent. If a guarantor is required, they must also be present at signing. We are available Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., to answer any questions throughout the process.

Our standard lease term is 12 months. Applicants must submit a completed residential application and general consent form. All Johnson Companies properties in Lakeville include most utilities in the monthly rent: heat, water, sewer, gas, and trash removal. The one exception is electricity, which residents pay directly to their electricity provider. This keeps monthly costs low and predictable.

Johnson Companies uses AppFolio for online resident services. Once your account is activated, you can pay rent online through the resident portal from any device. You will receive an activation email when your account is set up. Payments can also be arranged directly through the leasing office.

Maintenance requests can be submitted through your AppFolio resident portal at any time. Log in, navigate to the Maintenance tab, and select Request Maintenance. Include a description of the issue and upload photos if possible. You can indicate whether the maintenance team has permission to enter with their key. Pet policies vary by property. Village Dweller and Colonial currently allow one cat with a pet deposit and monthly pet rent. Dogs are not permitted at most properties. All four Johnson Companies properties in Lakeville are served by Independent School District 194 (Lakeville Area Schools). Nearby schools include JFK Elementary, McGuire Middle School, and Lakeville South High School. ISD 194 serves Lakeville, parts of Burnsville, Credit River, and surrounding Dakota County communities.
